Another XSPOWER Intercooler Setup *Updated Results*

Just finished mounting mine today. The intercooler and pipes can be removed as one unit. Just as you see on the bench. The longest pipe is 12" the other is 10". Also Pics of I/C filter.

43 degrees today too cold to test

I like that universal bolt idea!! I thought about doing the strainer but was a little worried. I can't remember do you have a rxp or rxt. That cobra is pretty neat I think it won't effect air flow at all. I like how it has the deflectors and just pushes the air out and it naturually bends up. Reviews were great for it.
Can't wait to hear the results! Is your impeller already pitched ?

on the bench pic it looks like the elbow covers half of the outlet of the IC the way it is bent. if that is the way it looks when installed, it looks like you need two 45 degree couplers to replace the two 90 degree couplers

Kinchyle, its an RXP as Shibby said, Your Cobra Head fitting idea worked out great. Didn't make any pitch changes yet. My garage is real close to the lake so changing the pitch wll be easy. Also added was the R/R thru hull exhaust.

GTXX, the fitting on the bottom is a special bend elbow that Kinchyle found. It allows air flow thru a bend without restricting it.

I wish you were close to me. We could do back to back test with my RRIC and your Ebay IC just to see and tell how it is...

I think it is gonna work out great, but I agree I would try and find a better way to connect it at the 90 degree fitting. It has to restrict flow over two 45 degree elbows or something just a bit less restrictive....

    GO TEST IT...

My RRIC with the power pipe, ride plate holes filled, riva grate, Block off's, worxs sponson and a little fresh air fan pulled me with a FULL tank gas and my fat ass at 8100 rpm's and 70mph.

    Just for testing sake...
