Riva stage 2 vs. stage 3 intercooler
Is there any difference between the two as far as flow and hp or is it just the blow of valve?

The Pro Series also has the mandrel bent aluminum plumbing.

Ok so whats the difference between the standard BOV and the Pro Series BOV? How come everyone says to not use the BOV but Riva has it with all their IC kits? What ACTUALLY does the BOV do or should I ask what does it prevent and what circumstances is it needed? I know what they do I was curious of why the conflicting answers. PS sorry about the hijack of your thread.

So it should flow a little better than. Reason I'm wondering is I'm looking at a stage 2 06 rxp that is supposed to have a full warranty but I wouldn't think a dealer would warranty anything on a stage 2 would they? If not I'd rather find a stage 3.

I dont think that the mandrel bent pipes increase flow they are more of a precautionary upgrade. With a stage 3 youll be running higher pressure and the mandrel bent pipes wont bend, break, or fall off the way the silicone ones may have. Also to address the BOV valve question, i had the same one a while back and i was sent to several threads where there was a debate whether or not to use a BOV or not. Lets just say that Jerry doesnt use one and thats good enough for me . Also if your looking at the riva stage 3 i would highley recommend the XS intercooler. It has very similiar numbers to the riva. It flows better than the riva but doesnt cool the air as much and its more than $1000 less. James (JfizzleJR) sells an a kit with mandrel bent aluminum pipes. water strainer is a must.

Plastic pipe between SC and IC will also melt with stg III SC's.
