    Blow off valve

    Is a blow off valve as important on a stage 1 rxp as it is on my blown sled.
    Compressor surge, fuel economy (range).

    I jump waves a lot.
    Just came thru a supercharger failure, nasty.

    BOV is a personal preference for riders on this forum....Some run it, some don't...I personally run it even with my metal washers in...Do a search on it and you will find LOTS of info and varying opinions...

    Even though the SC has a clutch setup.... Which in a way mimicks a belt driven setup and the slip that sometimes comes with it. Wouldnt you say its a good idea to run a bypass? My friend has an ATI kit pushing 7psi on his truck. He tried it without a bypass valve on it one time. Surge was nasty. Ended up going back with a Vortech mini bypass. The ATI kit came with the same crap Bosch bypass that is sold in some "BOV" kits for the RXP. But in essence, its not a blow-off valve at all.

    Just all the things ive seen working on blown/turbo setups. Theres always been some method of boost relief.
