    Starting w/Lanyard

On a 2002 Polaris Genesis if the lanyard IS NOT attached will the engine still crank? Or should it do "nothing" when the lanyard IS NOT attached?

The only time it will not crank, is when thw MFD is locked. There is a manual for this ski posted in the tech section if you are interested.
