Riva ride plate in offshore riding

    Hello,

I'm french and I would like to buy riva ride plate, this parts isn’t available in france.
What do you think about its performance in offshore riding or rough water? I've 2°wedge pump.

    Thanks for your answer.

Simply put, the Riva plate stinks in anything bigger than 1 footers and the rough water superiority of the 250 is ruined, with the 2* wedge, it's even worse... Wait and see what R&D comes up with..

Hold out for the New R&D unit then compare peoples input.

Is the new R&D plate for performance in rough water or is going to help top end?

Chris and Lee said it was both.

Others will argue, but with what you described for riding conditions I would not get the riva plate.

Are you running a top loader with the riva plate? In all the skis I have owned I have never had any success with a bow rising plate and no top loader. Another thing I find helpful is sponson position. foward for bow lift, right back for bow down, (best for choppy conditions) Cheers
