Bayou Princess 74.8 mph *Full Tank*

Not too bad for a girls ski

    Her mods are:
    Riva IC
    Riva air intake
    Riva grate
    Riva thru hull exhaust
    15/20R with my pitch
    GH rideplate skegs

I just hit 74.8 with a full tank. 8100 RPM's at 8.0 PSI boost with stock SC impeller.

We will be on the water all day so i'll get a nearly empty speed reading later.

The rideplate holes still aren't filled yet. That should bring another 1 mph.

the skegs work great. i found a downfall about them today though. they work so well at building lift that at very high speed the slightest wave will cause you to come unhooked

Jerry does the speed have anything to do with the 15/20 impeller. im running a 14/19 and just wondering what one is better to run with a stage 2 kit.

at lower speeds the skegs work great in chop.

its just at super high top end speeds that i noticed this. even without skegs a wave will cause you to bounce at high speed. just with the skegs it seems a little more prone to it.

if you have an intercooler you need to be running a 15/20

worlds of difference when pitched right

air is 78 water is 78. its a beautiful day out on the water. sure miss my ski. despite how good careys is running it doesn't even hold a candle to what mine was in the acceleration department.
