Question Will there be a GTX-X??

Now that the RXT-X is out for 08, will Sea Doo also install the 250HP engine in the GTX??

    Anyone have a clue??

I doubt it. The RXT and RXP are part of Sea Doo's musclecraft segment, GTX is not.

Just buy a gtx limited 215 add the ic and sc wheel and there you go your very own gtx-x for way cheaper.

Actually the GTX Limited for '08 is 215 horsepower and is $300 more than the RXT-X. And the GTX 215 horsepower is $1500 cheaper but you're close to the cost of the RXT-X after you buy the IC and SC stuff and not be under warranty so why not just get it?

I like the new (better) hood, added storage and seat of the GTX

That might be cheaper to add to the RXT-X than the goods on the RXT-X to the GTX.

How would you do it? The GTX and RXT have different hoods ?

When you mean the hood, you're talking the cover to the storage in front that lifts up containing the mirrors - well you just buy the whole thing and swap it out with the one on the RXT. I'm sure it's all the same since they're the same hull.

I sure hope Seadoo doesn't add any more new models. Their lineup is getting pretty fat and a bit repetitive. They need to streamline it a bit and add more differences between the different models. You shouldn't be able to buy a base model ski with the same engine as a "luxury touring" ski.
