    How much?

I was wondering how much can I expect to get out of a 2001 Yamaha 1200 XLT with 48 hours. It's engine compartment is like BRAND NEW! The ski outside is in almost excellent condition. Garage kept and professionally maintained.

    How much?

This is exactly what I fear. I really need to get as much out of it as possible. Locally I found some that were selling between $5k-7k. The $5k ones had about 80-100 hours, the $6k-7k had about 40-50 hours.

be patient whe it warms up youll get more. take it to the local lake and put a 4 slae sign on it. people get the itch when it is warm and near the water.

check www.nadaguides.com for your zip code.....

value given doesn't include trailer, cover, or any accessories.... so depending what accessories you have, add to the RETAIL value listed.... make that your ASKING price and your rationale being the condition, low hours, accessories, etc... and then work down from there to make a deal somewhere as close to the nada retail as u can come.

    nada says: 4750 - 5720

I'd make your ASKING price 6,000.... and i'd be patient and not go below 5500 for a long time until u get desperate

obviously that's asking top dollar so to speak... but u gotta try. Nobody on this forum will give you 6k for it, but a newbie looking to get into the sport might apprecaite your machine since new ones are 9k+ and then add tax and trailer and whatnot... so a used one for 5500-6k sounds appealing to someone that knows nothing.

that's what is hard about selling a watercraft on PWC forums. most of us have a clue and are IN the sport and expect to get DEALS and steals.... i always put my advertising efforts to places like ebay, craiglist.com, local signs, and low traffic powersport forums

    good luck

Thanks Shibby, I have to get another loan first to pay off this new loan to get the titles for the Shuttle Craft and the Yamaha so that I can sell it!
