    NGK Spark Plugs...

If I went to the dealer and got the right plugs NGK...br8es, Will they be properly gapped?

If not, what should the gap be?

For my 2006 1300 that is...

The correct plug is BR8ES-11, they have a wider gap. They may or may not be gapped correctly. Check and gap them at .040.

    Rio,The 11 is designed for a larger gap (.044).
When a BR8ES plug is gapped at .044,it could cause the ground electrode to distort. Its also not a good idea to the BR8ES plugs with the Advent on the high spark cycle.

    Go buy the BR8ES-11's.

    Well...

Looks like I might have been given the wrong plug then...

There is a number 5422 and then under that it has the BR8ES...there is no number 11 anywhere on the box or the plug.

back to the dealer...or do they have them at auto part stores?

    Thanks for the feedback.
