your prop is to steep...You have a stage 2 prop with only minor handleing mods...You need to have the stock prop spec prop in there...

Your problem is your pitch (15/20) is too steep for your mods. You should have gone with a 14/19

You still need a Riva air intake to pull that prop. The air intake should bring your RPM's up another 150-200

Yup, just search for "air intake" in the search function and you will see a million differnt intakes people have made for less then 50-60 bucks. Or you could get the Riva Intake...

what benifit would a riva intake have as opposed to a stock? a stock intake dose not have a filter(or dose it) so i think it is gennerally sucking in the air from the hull while the riva intake filter sit next to the engine. not to be a pain in the a** but can a plastic tube with a filter on make such a diffrence. befor i bought the prop i was told it woulb be alot better all around more off the line and a slight top end and it feels pretty much the same but i just noticed the rpm drop. Thanks for all the help

Stock air box is VERY restrictive to air flow. Take it out and have a look, you will see.
