Ride plate screws and black rubber washers
while cleaning I noticed that the ski is missing a zinc anode 271001487, whew $10.
more importantly I noticed that in the pump area a number of black rubber washers that look to do something the plate in the pump area down to the ride plate. How important are these.
Loosing the zinc anode and these washers peeling up is there something else I should be looking at?

the washer peeling is normal, it was probably like that when it was new and you just didn't notice it. don't worry about unless it's leaking coolant.

I bet your not missing an anode. IIRC there is one anode only and directly across from it there appears to be a spot where one should be. As far a washers the peeling material is extra gasket that was squeezed out when they tightened the bolts. Having the extra anode will not hurt anything.
