Nitro F12x recording Dashboard and more

This weekend I finally got around installing my new dashboard. With the new engine in I wanted to record and see all the data real time on the water.

I got a Racepak programmable dash, a boost Gauge and a fuel pressure Gauge along with a 4 channel 10 LED detonation Gauge and 4 EGTs with 32 extra channels.

I will post a picture of the install when complete.

This is the dash, others to follow.

    Pix as promised...

I wanted large flange mounted gauges, so it was a tight fit. I had to Machine up an aluminum billet lens cover for the detonation meter (tight fit but I got it all in there). It’s a four channel system I had custom made for a Honda ski. It has 10 LEDs and shows you the amount of timing retard.

I will get a few shots of the dash installed. It was custom made buy RacePak for a ski as far as waterproof but I made the other stuff.

    Thanks guys.

That is fuel pressure. I am recording it with a transducer, but wanted to see it "real time" so i will also monitor it on the water. I'm setting up a new fuel system. Once things get sorted out i will replace it with a 0-160 psi for oil pressure.

I used SS braided line just like i use on my Nitromethene Top Fuel bike.

    SWEET.

i got a can of $3 vinyl interior black paint from autozone and painted my grips and pad..that's the only thing i could find to cover the mold stains. Looks pretty good.. you dont want anything detracting from that dashbd!

Dave, thats just a combo of my "dirty hands" and poor lighting.

I got out Sunday and ran the new fuel system, I got about 3 hours of data recording. Once i got home I ordered 16 new injectors to test with it, Mostly different spray patterns and flow.

I'm real close now to what is needed.
