    Fogging kits - Injected vs. carb versions?

    I see fogging kits on ebay for Polaris fairly often, but the seller often only lists one applicable Polaris model (Genesis), and doesn't mention injected vs. carb.

    Are these fogging kits the same for injected vs carb motors, or totally different?

    As I recall, the fogging kit is the same for all carbureted watercraft.
    If you use the kit at the intake manifold or into the throttle bodies I would think you should be able to get the fogging oil into the entire engine.

    Another fogging kit has come up on eBay;
    1998 POLARIS SLX, SLXH, SLH SLTH
    PART# 2872414

    Would this fit a Virage TXi 1200 injected motor?
    Are there fogging kits specifically for the Fitch motors?

    I think the only difference in kits is the mounting bracket and the decals. All of the fogging kits install into the fuel feed line before the fuel pump. On injected motors they might be plumed into nozzles at the intake.

    Since the injectors only feed fuel into the top end of the motor, I would imagine a fogging kit for an injected motor needs to feed into the air intake tract, not through the fuel system.

    Does Polaris make a fogging kit for the Fitch injected motors? I am not sure where to hunt for one...

    I dont know if they made one for injected. You can make one up using any kit. Just add some primer fittings to the intake.
