Green caps on 06 RXP battery
I am having a problem with the green plastic caps on the battery where you fill the acid. They keep breaking. I have now had to replace them twice and I wondered if anyone else is having the same problem. Is there a different capto switch to so they don't break?

Two of them were broken on a 07 RXT that I sold yesterday. I think they broke because they were over tightened.

it is definately from overtightening them. same happened to me when I first got the ski. I added a bit of water, tightened them down hard, and after a ride they all started popping. finger snug is all I would do with the new caps.

I went through 2 batteries in 2 years with the same cap popping problem. Finally, went to the maintenance free battery and stopped trying to figure it out. No problems this year

that was happening to mine because the battery was overheating......it would boil and pop those caps off

I started loosing battery caps on my 07 RXP when the ski hit 5 hrs. Lost 3 during one ride. Notified the dealer and they had a new battery waiting for me. So far so good with this one.
