Are you talking about this one? http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=37831
It's been proven on 700 twins. I'm not sure about 1050/1200's.
I did post a hot seat brouchers from years ago that claimed to have a 1050 single pipe, but I have never heard talk of it. Anyone see or hear of it???

I've never tried the mod personally but have been told that a couple of hundred rpm can be had up on the top end.

    Nut,
I've seen and heard of it. I actually own one and although I've never tried it personally, others have borrowed it and tried with no improvements over the stock system. It would appear as though it may just be a collectors item. I have never seen or heard of another one anywhere. Here are a few pics... it does indeed exist.

The hotseat pipe dimensions are considerably smaller than the stock red pipe on the 1050 / 1200 motors...

But man...if it only performed half as good as it sounded....Most awesome sounding single pipe I have ever heard on a ski coupled with a HSP waterbox...Absolutely nasty...

Stamped sheetmetal vs. cast aluminum...lets the sound through. I bet it sounds awesome. I also belive that a center bleed pipe (red pipe style) is quieter.
