    engine management and control

Does anybody know anything about the control strategies?

Does timing change based on IAT?

Are the fuel tables based on manifold pressure and throttle position?

Generally, with 3D maps on boosted EFI you have:

For Fuel: Throttle position VS RPM
For ignition timing: MAP (load) VS RPM

The IAT is used for a correction table called the Charge temp. This is mostly used in warm up calibrations and also in detonation protection.

What do you mean? Should it be in the general section?

We were hoping you had found an aftermarket ignition and would share the results.

There is an aftermarket ignition SYSTEM. Starting at 4K and goes up from there.

To me its not worth the money till I absolutly need it. Maccs WF Race 250 still has the stock ignition. For those going come take a look. So as of now I wont be buying one.

i agree Skip, i was just throwing it out there as an alternative. if the stock gear works, why change it.

I am not interested in an aftermarket ignition or changing the ecm. If your going to run big boost on pump gas the stock ecm tuned for 90 with base fuel and batch fired does not get much easier or simpler.

I was more interested in the detonation control. Now I just need to figure out how much wiggle room there is.
