    minor oil leak under oil pan

    looked for a drop nut under the hull, I happend feel kind wet around the oil pan. Does anyone have this oil pan leak issue?

    ding ding ding we have winner, jonny, tell the man what he has won...


    hate to break it but your gonna need to yank it and pull the motor and replace the pan... good chance that nut pierced the oil pan and caused the leak.... check your oil level it is probably a little low which means you have a pin hole leak

    I think the oil pan gasket not the oil pan. oil level still perpect.

    how long have you run it since you went looking for the nut?

    I drop the nut than I immediately look for it . I think this is a normal oil pan gasket minor leak, similar problem some minor leak on the valve cover gasket. Thanks for your respond.

    yes I did find it. When you have a chance. Can you touch around your oil pan gasket to see if you have a similar issue? Thanks

    i won't have this issue because my motor is being rebuilt from the ground up with all new parts.... gotta love catastrophic engine failure

    Red face oil pan leak

    sorry been there done that had the same problem with 10hrs on machine dealer had to pull engine replace pan gasket it started at about 6hrs it would loose about a pint a day rideing good luck check belt tention when you get it back mine was loose and intercooler hose blew off about 30 min after ridding

    all my stuff is brand new.. they just replaced your pan gasket..... not going to have any problems when i get it back
