Woody has a BIG set
On theway. And Jim already has a big set installed, of 43s that is...
WaterWoody and Jims1300 will both be testing the new 43mm sonic boom throttle bodies this weekend, weather permitting.
Both have BB motors and know their skis better than i know my own skis.
Having both hi and low altitude testing should give some interesting results from each.
Woody is the ultimate RAD weather watcher and keeps records like nobody else i know of..
Jims 1300 only has 565+ hours on his ski so i think he qualifies as an experienced tuner.
All i have asked of them is the same as anyone.. Post your results and give your honest opinions of them.
Idle quality, low, mid and top speed performance all are important.
I spend a ridiculous amount of time fine tuning and adjusting these big boys..
These will be available on a very limited basis as they take 3 weeks minimum to create.
15 percent more air than the stock 40mm these give.
Hope for good weather this weekend and follow this post if you want to know how they perform..

Ross, what is the total % over OEM TB's,going to the 43mm's?
I believe the OEm are 40mm at the butterfly right?
Were talking in the 18-20% range, does this sound close.Thanks.

The stock ones are 40mm from the top, thru the blade, then open to 41mm at the rubber intake spigot mount.
These are 44 at the top, taper down to 43 at the blade, and remain 43 the rest of the way thru.
It is necessary to open up the rubber spigot mounts 1mm to port match the spigots to the throttle bodys. Your matched spigots are on the way also.
15 percent more air is the number.
