    pics of water injestion

    hey guys i injested some water on my 1300r,scared cylinders and pistons,i think the crank is out of phase also what do you think,first cylinder tdc 2nd and 3rd ,5/8 of a inch off!did i do that right?

    They're not all supposed to be at TDC at the same time, if that's what you mean by your crank being out of phase?

    maybe i said that wrong, how do i check if it is out of phase?

    When #1 is at TDC, #2 & #3 should be the same height.

    Since you are that far into it, I would recommend sending the crank out to be checked. The water can create a problem with the bearings.

    ok my 2 and 3 are at different levels when 1 is at tdc,so the crank will have to come out!a little water can cause alot of damage fast!!!

    i dont have one for your model. i'm looking for it now. if you look in the manual for your mode,l it will tell you what to look for in the way of diagnosing crankshaft in or out of specifications. if anyone has the manual for this model please let me know. so i can download it the links i have found here are outdated and are not working. if there are new links to downloadable manuals please let me know thank you.
