15f bouncing 2 up with rideplate
i have a 2006 stx15f with the r&d rideplate installed and my girl on the back my ski bounces my buddy just bought a 15f with the rideplate and beach house sponsons i rode it 2 up and no bouncing,can the sponsons stop the bouncing?

I also have a 2006 15f, with the ride plae, it bounced some in rough water , i used 4 stainless steel washers in the back 4 bolts to shim the back of the plate down a little bit, much better ride.

I did the same with my 15f but i only used 2 washers because it will take from your top end you can feel the difference in the calm with the nose down but much better ride in the rough

thanks for the info i will try shiming the back four bolts with one stainless washer a piece and maybe even order up some riva sponsons

Yes, the sponsons help out a lot with stability. In really rough stuff I put them all the way back and down. Helps push the nose back down. You can see why if you look how the stock sponsons are positioned and then see how the rivas sit when all the way down. Even all the way up and forward they still provide a much more stable ride.
