    taps vs thread chaser

    has been a lot as treads about cleaning treads,taps are for NEW threads ,thread chasers for cleaning old threads,i know snap on sell them as i have a set,but i'm in oz shorely other tool maker make them as well,i know how dear snap on is,or in oz anyway,thanks bill

    Do you have Sears Hardware stores Home Depot or Lowes Hardware in Oz? They all have thread chasers here, but I don't know how different things are where you are. Whatever popular hardware stores you have over there may be able to get them or they may be in stock. G'day
