A couple of weeks ago I need a new MAF for my Nissan Maxima:
Canadian Nissan Dealer - $599 + 14% tax
US Nissan Dealer - $83
I was in Dallas on business and had it shipped to my hotel for $91. He would have shipped it to Canada and it would have cost me about $200 including shipping, duties and brokerage fees.

It is happening everywhere but I want to focus on powersports.
I will pass this thread on to someone I know in the business. I hear it all the time. I am trying to sell something and the first question is why can't you sell it to me for the same price. I don't have an answer because there is no excuse for it.
We need to hear stories about differences in price and friends or yourself that went south of the border to buy. We also need to hear examples.
I have a background in running a manufacturing businees and I know that BRP is not making as much in the States now because of the dollar. It is putting a world of hurt on all Canadian manufacturers that sell to the US.
BUT, that is no excuse for making us pay more. The pricing formula was developed when our dollar was in the 60 cent range. It has not evolved.
Hats off to companies like US Marine(Bayliner, Sea Ray) that adjust pricing every year to reflect the value of the dollar. If you know of a story like that we would like to hear it to.
Guys, if you don't speak up, nothing is going to change.
