RXT IS DOWN AGAIN, P-1509
What the hell is a P-1509 code?

A fella on sea-doo.net said it was a lake temp error code. Had been running fine all day, she was down for about an hour, fired her up and 300yds later at full throttle she quit, no spittin, sputtering or noise, just dead. Got fire at plugs, got fuel to rail, can hear injectors working. Set button 5 times gave me "END" until a moment ago when I got a P-1509 just one time, now back to "END" again. How much pressure should I be reading at fuel hose schraeder valve or what else should I be looking at or for?

Franko saw that one too. I forget what it was. A broken wire between the MPEM and LED I think.

I am now getting a "SENSOR" message as soon as I install the cap(key).

Yeah, I got that error message. It is a lake temp sensor error code. I had some electrical problems (cut wires). That sensor was not my problem. I think that error message might be some sort of "first level" message. In other words, there are other problems, but that error code appears first. You might check your wiring to see if anything is amiss. Did you install the Riva Air Intake by any chance?

OKAY......Here you go, as i suspected. If you've got spark and fuel that leaves timing next......................@%*$@%@ timing chain is broke!!! 3 months old 48hrs already down about 3 weeks with clutch. Having to rely on forums to keep the thing running, this sucks.
I just discovered this and yes I am venting, thanks for listening.
I feel better now.

That sucks!!! How'd you determine it was the chain? I'm curious whether the chain actually broke or a timing gear broke or stripped a keyway. I hope Seadoo isn't running plastic timing gears like you find on a lot of new cars. Please let us know the details... (Does the supercharger run off the same chain?) Sounds like a freak occurence.... we hope. I also hope that the Rotax engine is not designed as an "interference" engine where the valves and pistons try to occupy the same space when the chain breaks... I'm probably not helping with all my questions. Hope you get it back running quickly.

Fuelish- Pulled cover and lifted out one end of the chain. No the cam gear teeth are not coated and the supercharger is not driven by the chain.
