1100 blown out rear seals causes?
My 70 yr old Father brought his poorly running Venture 1100 up to me to try and fix a possible fuel pump check problem. Humm, the problem is the rear seals are blown out of the crankcase, with tiny metal particles from them everywhere. This is a 2 summer old SBT engine, he's checking on the date of when he bought the engine, but my question is HOW can the rear seals come out of an intact case? Stock air cleaner, no water injestion. Ran great until a couple of weeks ago.
Thanks for any comments.

1) sbt 2) put in backwards 3) rear crank seal and cdi (vibrates to failure due to mounting position) are inherently weak on 1100 motor 4) refer to #1

engine backfire in crank case causing seal to kick out! Usualy reed damage sometimes also ! Or excessive fuel in bottom end from a carb needle leaking fuel and motor hydro locked due to excessive fuel in cases just like water injestion only with gas instead. You sure that it didn't injest some water some where also?
