Please take your best "guess"
And I say "guess" because I know every ski, weather condition, fuel quality etc... is different and so on.
I have an '05 GPR 1300. I have ZERO engine mods. I do have all the standard air mods to get more air to the engine compartment. I have the PPK, R&D two bar (soon to be 800) grate and Jims J-Plate with stepped stock sponsons. I'm turning a 14/20 DF at 7050-7200rpm and 70-72mph through an 87mm nozzle depending on weather conditions and load, etc.
Plugs and piston wash look great.
Big question and I know it's sketchy, that's why I'm saying "guess" -
Do you think I could get my head cut to raise my compression to 150 psi (give or take) WITHOUT any other mods? ie: fuel controller, d-plate.... etc. and be safe?

i would say no to head work without the EFI unit..
just playing on the safe side..

Crazy did the 05 have aluminum or plastic trim tabs?

Get rid of those plastic ones and get some aluminum OEM ones or modified R&D

Yeah, I have the 85mm ready to go, I was just trying to get my rpm's back up a tad from running the 14/20. I added the 87mm with the syphon and visibility spout plugged and gained about 75rpm.
