Pump shaft wont come out of the intermediate

OK tecks, I pulled all the bolts out of the intermediate, and the pump housing, and it wont pull out like it should. It all spins fine, but just wont slide out like it should. How do you guys normally try to pull out the shaft if it wont just slide out. Thanks for anyones help, R

What are you trying to pull the pump housing with the prop on it?

I am trying to pull the complete pump off from the back, Disconnected all the lines, stering, trim. 4 main bolts, and the whole pump with prop and shaft should slide out right?
The motor is out, and I pulled off the three bolts around the intermediate out, and tried to slide that out, and If I am not mistaking, that should come out as well right? but none of that will come apart at all, stuck in the boat R

Have you used the tabs ? Be careful...It will come out. Use a few screw drivers around the tabs and slowly pry back there is a sealent between the pump and liner.

I have already used to tabs and have broke it loose, it comes out about a half of inch from the back, but it is pulling the intermediate as well, almost like the pump shaft is stuck in the intermediate, spins great, and straight, so I am not thinking cross spine or anything, but maybe rust of some kind, rusted together inside the intermediate and shaft??

there is a smaller bolt on the left side of the craft(goes into the hull same as the larger ones) that someone missed once.... that also goes into the hull- make sure that one is out. I didn't see it mentioned on your list of things you removed.

Hey, I actually did get that one, I know the shaft is loose from the boat, it just wont pull completly out, I try, but it actually trys to pull the intermediate out with it, It looks like the shaft is rusted inside the intermediate, causeing it not to come out, and I feel if I pull it to hard, it will pull the inter. through the boat you know R
