Don't know about Jersey, but up here in New York I am always ridin...

As long as it is above 35 degrees.

Last winter was very mild, I was ridin in Nov, Dec, Jan, and Feb.

I have a 7/5 wetsuit that keeps me nice and toasty. I wear that with 5mm neoprene gloves, a neoprene hood with face mask and some goggles.

It's like riding a snowmobile on the water.

I will take some pics when the Great South Bay has "slushbergs" on it and me screamin through them on my XLT.

I couldn't image only riding the ski in weather above 60 degrees.

I keep my skis in the garage so if the temp drops they won't freeze up.

You should try it, it is very peaceful on the water in the winter.

However, if you ride alone, definitely spend the $150 for a seatow membership, last December one ski broke down and I was chest deep in the water for 45 minutes, that wasn't fun.

Buy some winter gear and KEEP ON CRUIZIN!!!!!!!!!!

Damn!!, I feel for you guys with the cold already setting in.

But its time to get the other toys out and do maintenance on the skis right?

Sometimes I wished we had an off season so I could catch up keeping 3 skis running perfect all year round.

    Stay warm up there.
