    October Cumberland river ride

Harry and I are talkin up a Cumberland river ride from Old Hickory lake up as far as Defeated Creek, depending on everyone's fuel range and octane needs. Defeated creek only has 87 octane gas. If anyone else besides me needs 93 octane let me know, i am working on a way to get us some.

Starting from cedar creek ramp on Old Hickory, it is 90 miles up the river and thru Cordell Hull lock to Defeated creek dock for gas and a cheeseburger. SMOOOOOTH as glass. Bring your fishin poles.

This is a great ride, done it a few times, where I start from its 110 miles one way , we usually roll up there pretty quick as you have to schedule a lock time with the LockMaster, but the ride back is just a cruise and have fun kind of ride.

Sound good harry, I'm in. Who else needs 93 octane. I checked with the dock at Defeated creek yesterday and all they sell is 87 octane. I'll drive some cans of 93 up there the day before if i have to if they are ok with that. Worst case - put in at hwy 231 ramp and ride up to the islands below carthage, break out some BBQ and ride back. This is about a 60 mile trip.

Harry, this is the weekend the refugees are going to "wheelin in the country" . We won't have as many people goin but no clusterfuck.

    WHO NEEDS 93?
