    Xl1200ltd speeds and mods

    are they any xl1200ltd otu there that are doin more dan 62..and what mods have u done to reach higher speeds.. are the any tips and tricks.

    jim plate is a must....any more

    unless u wanna spend the big bucks on the motor for the hp to push the impeller angle, then 62 is pretty good i think.

    I got solas 14/20, worx maxiloader, r&d stuffer, comp matched liner, mod ride plate, trued hull with anti hydro resist coating, but all this is pushed by (around)200hp single pipe engine and still only just above your speed !!

    keeping the standard intake on perfectly flat water will raise it a bit, but how often is it perfectly flat?

    bear in mind my money could have bought me an rxp

    Hello Fastkaz, I'm running 70 plus mph. in the heat with my wifes 99 XLL ski. Give me a ring tomorrow and i will give you some tips.

    im from the caribbean and down hear we deal wit mostly choppy waters...rarely flat water hear..i want to build a reiablibe craft that can withstand high speed without problems and do high mphs

    You can get a xlt to run 75 mph. on a single pipe. and still be very reliable.

    what exactly do you have to do to go those speeds...tripple pipes are one of those..what else?
