    T.O.P.S. test switch:

I`ve been meaning to do this test, bc I can feel my ski cut in and out when I`m flying thru the rough chop. I know others have experienced this also. So I had the moment to fab this up, and I`ll see if there is any difference...PR...

I used the original stud and one of those plastic christmas trees to hold it to the MPEM bracket...

Looks slick!! Should work just fine... So when you are rough riding you turn it off, when you are easy riding you turn it on ??

Larry, for this test I omitted the mercury switch.
from what I am told, mercury switches are on off function, why my switch still reads continuity, even though it`s below constant on value is a mystery to me, but what the hey, this entire ski has been a complete mystery to me, it`s possesed ...PR...

a couple of peeps mentioned that the ski is cutting in and out.
Is the ski actually shutting off?
Or is it possible that the rev limiter is being hit and the ski temporarily goes into limp mode?

    thanks
    Scott

Personally I think the mercury switch just kills the spark...when it comes back it' immediate. You just notice a 'miss' in the engine.

Oh, wait a minute, it also plugs the oil from getting into the cyls if you really turn over. So I guess I'm not sure how it works but I know the cut-out situation.
