    hotseat 785 waterbox who's running 1??

    i just got a waterbox (EBAY)for the 785 (has hot seat sticker but)
    very short maybe 2/3 or 1/2 the length of stock
    WANTED TO KNOW IF ANYBODY ELSE HAS A H/S WATERBOX FOR A 785 AND IS IT MUCH SHORTER THAN STOCK??

    I run a hot seat waterbox on my pro.

    It is definitely different size than stock.

    I ordered some really fancy 3 inch ID tubing to run from the collector to the waterbox, and I made sure the piece was long enough to reach all the way back to the waterbox as it sat positioned on the stock mounts.

    After that, your going to have to cut out a section of the tube running from the waterbox to the hull out. Then just get an aluminum coupler and hose clamp it.

    I ran one on my 1200 triple pipe motor...(needed the bigger openings for flow)...

    I remember thinking it was quiter than the HSP 1200 waterbox

    Of course maybe the extra 900+ rpms just changed the acoustics...

    yep, doesnt have that awesome sound the HSP box has on the domestic single.

    785 with the HSP box actually is kinda quiet I think, but again your looking at a completely different exhaust system than a single piped boat.

    My Pro Tdr Box Looks Very Simliar To A Stocker,not Louder Just A Much Better Tone,by The Way Its For Sale,drop In Fit For Pro785,fits Pro1200 With Fp Triples

    txpro you 1200pro does sound good...not to loud and not to quiet with that two stroke tripple raspy static sound that drives us two smokers crazy ...........and it turns like a crazy mo-fo
