Keihin CMK II carbs
Did any of the Polari use this carb? What are the known problems with it?
I ended up picking up a Kawi 750SS for $300(sorry) but I got sick of sharing my 750SL with the wife and Kids.
I rebuilt the carbs and cleaned it really well. Reinstalled,
But: it will start and run if I drip premix into teh carb, but will not idle or run on water.
If I full choke the thing, I can see fuel being pumped into the carb throat, but it stops as soon as I take off choke.
I put a clear fuel filter in line and the fuel pump (built into the carb) will not draw enough fuel to fill the filter if it is horizontal. Only about half way up the filter.
I know its not a Polaris, but fuel is fuel. and a 2 stroke is a 2 stroke

If you get fuel into and up to the carbs but nothing into the cylinders is it possible the needle/seat assembly is stuck or not properly assembled?

It will push fuel while choked, and if I hold some open throttle (maybe a 1/4" or so, but will not run longer than 20 sec. and will not idle at all
I am going to pull the carb and take apart again
Maybe I need to find another carb and try to see if that is the problem
