    d plate, free flow exhaust

I am starting to mod my 05 gp1300r, bit confused bout the d plate.
do i just install the d-plate? or do i have to get the free flow blue pipe as well?
putting this in means i can remove the cat? which is recommended by all on here
does the cat just pull out?

I'm not doing any engine work, wanted to do intake grate, pump seal kit and reinforce the shoe.

is it ok to use 14/20 dynafly with no engine mods?

will i benefit from changing the nozzle with these mods or is it a must?
    the 87mm nozzle in mind.

    I'm happy with its handling.

i ride in sea/ thames estuary mostly

i'm jealous of your top speeds!

Skip out on the free flow exhaust. It will slow you down and you don't need it with out a decent amount of motor mods.

To install the D-Plate you have to remove the cat. The D-Plate replaces it.

Also a 14/20 is too big for a stock ski. The stock impeller will take you into the low 70's for sure. You will also be faster with the stock nozzle.

    Welcome to the forum !

You are better off with the D-plate in there. You can run the OE temperature sensor too. If the alarm sounds you can put a 2k ohm resister in there.
