    GTX Supercharged Intercooler

I have an 04 GTX w/ the 185 motor, has anyone put a intercooler on this engine. I know that it has higher compression than the 215, but i dont think an intercooler will increase the boost, so im thinking a RXP intercooler would bolt right up w/ no problems? Has anyone done this...

You can't bolt an OEM IC on without swapping the intake manifold from a 215 unit...

You can install an aftermarket unit, such as the Riva or Piranha...

Yes, I have done this and I`m currently running it right now...
it does work. I`m able to run a more aggressive prop with it, without it i lose 150-200 rpms. This dif may vary from other regions bc of temps...PR...

To answer your question get in touch with jfizzler he can set you up with a complete external intercooler thats way better then a stock ic and you can pic the whole kit up for a pretty good price also adds 1-2mph and better accel.

if you bought the Riva kit, you just need to run longer water lines...don't forget the water filter, you'll need it...
