    Oil Cooler relocation.

Can the oil cooler on the side of the engine be relocated???

I'm having a fitment issue, and would love to move that sucker out of the way.

That would be tricky, when you unbolt it the oil galleries are exposed. The cooler seals onto the side of the sump with orings. You would need to run oil lines from the holes in the side of the sump to the cooler in its new location. Think I`d try and make room for it in its original location.

I think it would be eay to thread the block for fittings for the lines, of course the motor would have to be all the way down to remove the chunks.
I dont know how you would be able to put fittings on the oil cooler, the way it is made would make it tough.
I would think an aftermarket oil cooler would get it done. The water hoses being rubber should be easy to adapt.

I want to ride that gprxp when it is done!!
