    Rules and Laws

Here is the web sight with the operating rules, required equipment and other information from the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries. Please take a few minutes to read the information so that anyone who plans on going is familiar with the Louisiana state laws.

    Missed a couple...

    Mark-
    You forgot to add:
    1. Don't call the Prick Sergeant a Prick, he tends to become a bigger prick.
    2. If the above mentioned Prick Sergeant asks to see your GPS, it probably isn't the smartest idea to cover the screen, shut it off, and start asking questions about the length of school bus he rode in and if his mother still is a MILF...

Here's a couple I noticed while taking a quick glance

    OVERPOWERING:
No watercraft shall be equipped with any motor or other propulsion machinery beyond its safe power capacity taking into consideration the type and construction of such watercraft and other existing operating conditions.

I wonder who this one would pertain too
    MUFFLERS:
It shall be unlawful to use a motorboat unless the same is provided with an efficient muffler, underwater exhaust, or other modern device capable of adequately muffling the sound of the exhaust of the engine
