    RXP ride plates

I'm not familiar with the RXP's but my buddy just picked one up (06') and wanted to know why nobody made an aftermarket ride plate for one. I called Jim at Perf PWC in tampa and he said he'd have to take a look at one, meaning he hasn't ever before. Anyone got some input on this subject?

It's harder because the ride plate is also the heat exchanger so coolant is flowing through it.

All the ride plate is made of is casted aluminum with the top of the casting milled to fix the top plated that seals it.It couldn't be that hard to mill just alot of programming to get it right.$$$$$$$

Of course you could always handle engine cooling with another heat exchanger and tap the pump for another cooling line to feed it...

Then you could use any rideplate design you wanted to (provided it would bolt up)...

Just another route this discussion could go...

You could easily spend a hundred hrs developing something that might not fit or work. If you cast the rideplate with the skegs on it and then machine the seal area and mounts it would seem to be the quickest and safest way to get a part that would work. I just do not have the ability to make a sand cast and get it machined. Anyone wanna work on it PM me.

    So radiator aside.

Will the Rideplate from a RX fit the RXP? If so, all you need is the radiator.
