    Help find lost RPM's.

Guys I am scratching my head. I have gone over my 07 RXT with a fine tooth comb and I can not find my lost RPM.

    oil level bottom bend.
    80in lbs on clutch.
    all hoses and couplers tight
    all electrical connections tight.

    I am at a steady 7620 rpm's.

I can't see my prop needing that much attention. I mean 5mm would be way to much IMO to bend that prop.

Can everyone please throw some thoughts my way? Heading to the lake today, so I can tinker on it...

    15 hours on ski.

Oh yea, I have look at all of it. I have had my handsfull with RXP's and they are similar, but I have gone through this thing and all looks well.

Prop looks awesome. I pulled it this morning as I thought maybe it was that, but all blades are equal. It is on the work bench as we speak and I was gonna tweak it, but have decided not just yet.

This ski has always been a bit low on R's.....

Well Prop and pump back on ski. I have gone over it all again.
Going to the lake today, so will see what happens.

Last time out 64.4 and 7620rpm's...

Anyone have a stock prop they can measure and shoot me a pic via post or PM?

Bone stock. Never touched. Well besides metal washers. I bought it from a forum member. He and I have never had above 7640 RPM's.

When I first put the RXT in the water I had a similar issue.
Pulled some oil out and no significant difference.
After 10 hour service (at 8.5 hours)the Rs dropped from 7840 to 7750 and on GPS it was about .6 slower. Pulled some oil out and it was back to 7800/7850.

Then I put the green wheel in and it went ot 7920 or so. It stayed there but my speed did improve.

After it rolled over 10 hours R were around 7950 and pulling about 66 MPH

While I was out riding the marshes with a group the ski went started pulling 8100+ and going 67+ on GPS. The only thing that changed was i went over 20 hours.
Now the ski is pulling 8050 to 8150 at WOT.

Honestly it was like someone threw a switch.

    Max speed now is 68.7

It was weird but looking back there noticable were changes around 3 hrs, 10hrs and 20 hrs.

So are you saying or thinking it has something to do with break in? Stock ECU retarded until around 20hours?

Well I have heard of 10 hours and all my RXPs did that, but at around 10 hours they woke up?
