    What about this helmet???

Since I no longer have a Harley...is there any reason that my helmet couldn't be used on my MSX 150, at 60+???

Don't be bashful...if it wouldn't offer any protection, or just looks dumb, I'd rather hear it here, then behind my back at the launch ramp!

Depends on what you want protection from.
If you want to protect your chin and face from a handlebar face plant, then I don't think that is the helmut you need.

What do you plan on hitting?

haha I wouldn't do it. Also, when it comes to motorcycles I feel it's not smart to have anything less than a full-face lid, but that's a whole other conversation, don't get me started on that one! Offers little protection, and yeah you're gonna hear some giggling at the ramp. I say dirtbike helmet or a dedicated ski lid, but I'll let the more knowledgable make the specific suggestions.

On a side note... if you're considering that this might not offer the protection you need on the ski, how well do you think it'll protect you while tumbling down the asphalt? The road don't care what you fell off of, whether it's a moped, cruiser, or sportbike. Don't dress for the ride, dress for the fall. Couldn't resist...

Actually, I never plan ahead to hit ANYTHING! But as John Steinbeck wrote: "...the greatest plans of mice and men, often go astray..."

Want to buy a mint Harley hat????

Words of wisdom! You have got my attention about the "dedicated ski lid"...can't say I have seen one. Where are they found? What search words would I use on eBay (somehow I suspect that 'lid' isn't going to help)???

    Thanks for the input....

Since, as of now, NO BODY thinks that this 'lid' is capable of starting a whole new trend on the water...I guess that it's proper place is on the auction block! I was looking at the motoX helmets the other day, and would go for a plain black with the Polaris logo...but never saw one the size I need. Seems like these motoX helmets are in all of the pictures of competitve skiers...are they 'just cool', or a sanction requirement?

It must meet current DOT or Snell standards for APBA rules
