    Question Blaster 1 & a 1200R engine?

Simple question and no doubt a very complicated answer.

Will a 1200R engine fit into a blaster 1 hull??

Can I do it or not??

    Any advise appreciated.

    Andy

1200r would be very hard but I have seen a couple of 1200 motors in in blasters I was kicking around the idea of a 800r motor in blater I think it would be a better combination

Andy, talk to Lee Bower from the IJSBA. I'm pretty sure he has something "similar." It may have been a 1200 65U. In any case, I think it's bad-ass.

If I lived down there, I think I'd have to jump on that. Pretty sweet deal.

I have heard that to get the 800pv motor in there, the side of the hull needs to be bubbled out to clear the pipe. The 1200 pv is probably worse. I would stick with a npv 1200, but if you do squeeze a 66v in there, I want to ride it!

I have read other post (don't remember where) where guys dropped 1100 in the B1's and loved it

Looking at mine I don't see why it wouldn't fit, if you do a rear mounted waterbox you should have plenty of room to make it fit

Art Sever from Engine Tech put an 1100 in a Blaster back in like 1999, it was really fast!!!!! but he pulled it apart and sold off the parts before he really had the chance to tune it.
