    Dash MFD retrofit

Got a 94 SL 750 that uses the round MFD. Would it be possible to retro fit a dash from a 93 from below. Im more worried about the Gas and Speedo. My current MFD dont work and will be adding a oil block off this winter. The start button on the 93 isnt a concern because Ill use that location for a manual switch for the bilge. Other then that its just a litlle re routing of fuel lines.

The only other concern I have would be fuel flow but dont think it would be that bad as it is already coming from the front and would be traveling the same distance.

Would there be any issues with the fuel or the electronic wiring?

    Thanks,
    Ron

You'll most likely need to splice in the fuel gauge wires, as the connectors are different.

The fuel system won't care how far it has to travel and the electrical for the fuel sending unit is the same resistance so no problem there.
Yep, some hose, clamps, a few snips, solder, shrink tubing and wala.
Let us know how it works out.

I'm toying with the idea of using that exact dash. But instead of the fuel valve, it's going to be a tachometer. Kinda like a gauge cluster of a car. Or use one of the plates CrazyA sent me just like it.

    Fuel guage

Hi. I found that the fuel guage has (per service manual) "approx" 2.5 volts supplied on R/W wire, from the LR52.The MFD's don't use a regulator that drops volts to 2.5v.The fuel sender works the same on both models
