Ski felt a bit wobbly at today, tell me if sponsons were culprit?
I went out today just moved up the sponsons to the middle rather than all the way down and hit 72 which was cool, but the ski felt a bit unstable in the flat calm, Im assuming its from the sponsons but this was the first time I rode with them in the middle, you guys have the same feel?

moving them up will increase speed...stability is reduced due to less water being "caught" by the blade...

Sure makes sense, but didnt know if anyone ran them in the middle and felt the same thing, I didnt like it at all, needless to say they are back down, hopefully I get to ride again befroe it gets real cold.

I moved my Rivas to the middle position trying something..And YES at high speed WOT runs the ass end of the ski feels loose..I even have skegs on there and i still get that lose feeling like the ski is sliding back and forth..
I am gonna drop mine back down after i do a "fix" for my ski cutting in and out in the chop..

yep, i can only agree.
I tried theRIVA sponsen in all three positions and all up is quite scary WOT or try a turn, that gets the heartrate up (spin out almost certain)
in the middle they still feel loose but not scary anymore.
all th way down is the only position I would ride them. its stable and give ok grip.
the best I found is the original sponsen lowered, the bes by far actually
Awsome grip an no loss of speed. maybe a little too much grip in the turns if you like to cruise and not to race.
