    Texas ride 2008

Well, since the other thread is a year old, why not start this early. Where and when should we all get together for a ride? Lets throw choices out there so we can put the poll up with the top choices. Some said they didn't like certain lakes so we'll go with the majority rule on this all the way.

How about Sam Rayburn ? I have never been there but I have heard its real smooth out there. Some one had sent me a link about a year or so ago (wish I still had it) to some nice lookin waterfront cabins and the lake look nice and smooth too.I belive Kirk350 knows this lake well, maybe he can chime in.

Everyone, there is a big secret in east Texas called Lake Sam Rayburn. Once you go there, you will see why the few of us that go there talk about it so much. Google the place and look @ satilite pictures and you will get the idea. This is a place that Jetskr and I introducted to 2fun4u and Rideallday and they can tell you too, it is worth the trip. This is also the weekend get away for the DRC and I know they will chime in. A few of the Houston boys have been there and 1 even bought a lot there after the 1st trip. The attached link is to a sweet place with cabins to fit every budjet. Tons on coves of flat water, beaches to stop and chil @, and occasionally, rough water for those who like it wild.
Any way, this will always get my vote.

I was actually looking at a few lakes today and thought that Sam Rayburn would be a pretty good one. I've only heard good things about it.

Very Interested my vote would go for Lake Travis as I like wave jumping but let's see what everyone else thinks.
