    Impeller/pump housing question

As most of you know I have been complaining about low rpm's since back in the summer. My dealer called me today and said he thinks some of the problem may be my impeller/pump housing. The edges of the blades look like they have been scorched and there is to much gap between housing and impeller.

He gave me a price to replace them but seems like I remember someone on here talking about sending them to someone to have them repaired. I cannot find a post on this and I do not remember who you guys were recommending. I would like to have it repaired if at all possible. If you can give me a reference to whom I should send it to. Also if you have had it done and what kind of results did you get. Thanks Roger

That was my post. Impros fixed it up real good for me. My total was around 200 but that included new bearings. Send it and they will be honest about what needs done. I gained 200 rpms when I got it back. Very pleased with the work!

Blueultra, how much more did you get on top end with the 12/20? I don't even know what the stock pitch is, any one know?

Harry how hard is it to pull the pump and impeller? I am going to send the pump and impeller to Impros. I think that I can just leave the impeller in the pump and send them the whole thing is that correct. I am hoping that I can just unbolt it and remove. I know I will have to pull the ride plate and shoe on the bottom. I have a shop manual but I left it at my shop. Thanks Roger
