Your perfect garage/house?
Talking to Pale Rider, and we were joking about garages.
I know we all have commitments to pay the bills, take care of the family, and somewhat live in a community...but what if we could build our perfect garage, and house....
Would it be some nice house and huge garage or would it be, say, a little "different."
I'd like to have a 1500sqft garage, with an attached bedroom, kitchen, study, and bathroom. It would have a pit, and a lift, and a hoist, a metal working area, a wood working area, and a mechanical working area. It would have drains in the floor for cleaning, be made of cinderblock, with at least a 2car garage....next to my private test lake.
Oh, I'd have a standard 3/3/2 just to keep the family out of MY garage.
Is this soooo much to ask.

Now we`re talking!
I`d like to have a 40X60(66) building, all fancy wood type garage doors, 3 across the front, 2 in the back that goes to 14' high. 2 four post lifts with one bay having a pit. so in theory it would be 5 bay with an office.
On top of the shop is the house, full perimeter deck, sunroom, sky-lights and whatever ammeneties the little lady needs, you know powder room, big closets.
and don`t forget the bat pole coming from inside one of the closets in the master bedroom down to the shop floor, so when you wake up in the middle of the night forgetting to do something you could slide right down and get`er dun before you forget again...
Oh, and the office would have kitchen, bath, laundry, dinning facilities and a pool table for de-stressing!
How`s that sound!...PR...
Mark, now you got me thinking again!...

the bat pole, and the rear garage doors are an absolute must....
Plus, MAYBE, you could get the wife to do some pole dancing in the garage...

I like that....
Please add the following...
Sliding 12 foot tall, sliding doors on 3 sides, so you can drive through...
Floor and wall all white epoxy covered...
Twin 80 gallon air-tanks, with access points everywhere...
Above storage with several rows for small parts...
240 service, with 440 in the back for the...
PC with 24" LCD, mapped to server in house with music...
Coke machine filled with all kinds of things, from water to redbull...
hmmmm, what else?

Big garage... so important when considering houses; but so many people just don't understand. What the hell is wrong with them?!

No matter how big you make your garage it will be too small.....I have a friend that built a 300'X100' pole barn. He thought it would be big enough......In less than 6 months--- FULL
