13/19 Solas over sized on a stock 1300 motor?

I have a prop sitting here that i got a while back off a board member.

its a 13/19 over sized solas prop that came off that previous owners 1300 and was pitched by island racing according to what the previous owner said.

Will this be suitible to run on my 06 1300 which has a stock motor or will i need engine mods to use it because its over sized?

also if it is OK to run it what sort of gains can i expect from it?

it also seems to be missing the dome off the end of it, as it was not suppplied as part of the sale, can i use my stock one on it or do i need to get another one for it?

izzO,it will not work on your 06'.The Solas Concord based props were designed with a smaller hub for the 00'-04' GPR's,your 06' has the high output pump with a bigger hub diameter.Keep you stock prop on there till you decide to mod the ski.

If you are talking about the nose cone, your factory prop is made into one piece so you might be able to buy one from a board member at cheap price.I did not run 13/19 until modified but was told by some good tuners that it would be fine on stock 1300 if it is really a 13/19..If Carl repitched it to higher pitch i would not use it until you get some mods.....My bad,i have a dynafly and thanks Woody !!! Good Info

thanks for the advice guys, as always you come to the rescue.

    its over sized though billy.

I will msg the orignal owner to find out some more about it.

IZZ- If its an impeller that we did, it will be engraved on the inner hub what the exact pitch is. If it is a Solas Concord YF-CD 13/19, even if the pitch was increased a few degrees, you can use it in a stock to mildly modded 1200R no problem. (If the pitch was increased, it would probably give a little better performance than an unmodded 13/19-providing you bought it in good condition.)
Its not the correct impeller for the 06 pump as stated.

well i dug it up and i cant find any engravings on it although the seller said it was over sized not repitched...but then again this was 12 months ago so my memory is hazy and i was 2 months into the sport at the time.

I will test it out on my 1200 and see what sort of gains I get.

Anyone got a nose cone they are willing to part with?

I ran a Dynafly 14/20 on my mildly built 1200R (compression and VF3's) and it was a perfect impeller for that ski. I put a 14/24 on that ski later to get big numbers and it delivered 77.8 with an 85mm nozzle. I think a 14/20 Dynafly would work well and you can get it repitched when you start modding.
