New Solas Impeller Being Developed
Oceanside Bill and I have been in direct contact with Roger Tsai from Solas. He is the manager of Reasearch and Development. He is working on a Dynafly with a higher pitch. I'm not sure what root angle they are looking at but I think it will be a 15/22 or something close. It sounds like they will have one soon. This will be good news for the Big Bore GPR community. I know a lot of people were looking at VX110 impellers and all the BS it takes to make them work.
They also have intake grates that use a much better quality casting method than current aftermarket grates.
Of all my stops at World Finals this was the best. Solas was very receptive to what we were telling them.
Rogers email is email@example.com
We will develop higher pitch YG Dynafly soon. And about SRX800 intake grate, I think we will make some prototype in a few days.

So what will we gain exactly over a repitched 14/20 dy?

Increased root angle processes water better and this will be able to be pitched higher than a 14/20 can currently go.

Would this be a good prop for the GPRXP conversion then?
