Flame arrestors and resonator bypass on a 951DI?

Can I do it? Also, how well will the FI adjust to the added air intake from the FA's?

you can't do it without having the MPEM re-mapped by PPG. they are the only one that can do it.

    About $900
I've heard mixed reviews on it as well. Some say it's a great bang-for-buck mod and others have had problems with it.
I don't have a DI so I cannot personally comment.

What about doing the resonator bypass? No need to modify MPEM for that right? Just frees up some more room in the engine compartment.

I don't see why you couldn't. Keep in mind though that there is ZERO gains from this mod.
I did mine, but gained nothing.

PPG has a package for it, it must be installed properly with the right components to work right. Its a remapped mpem, head mod, prop, and FA's (plus little things) as a WHOLE package...They have 2 packages available, one WITH and one WITHOUT the head mod....I HIGHLY suggest the head mod, makes a HUGE difference compared to stock...

The reso bypass will only gain you noise levels, thats it. It eliminates the plastic resonator, that can sometimes crack and split from thermo shock of WOT passes and thn stopping......makes the ski sound better though...
