    Seadoo RX Hull

I have a RXDI that I want the MAYBE sell the motor out of and transplant something faster in there. Is it even worth it? Will something else fit? Is this a slow hull and am I just wasting my time? I have too much time on my hands! hahaha

its not a slow hull...In its RXX platform it would do 70...

its finding a donor engine that will determine it...

Well a 4 stroke is probably out of the question (price, weight, space) but as far as 2 strokes go the only motors I know of are the yami motors. I dont know anything about polaris, kawi etc.

A yami motor could work....but unless you toss a 4tec in there he performance will not be much....

Are you in a big hurry? I've been working on something for a blown RX DI I picked up last summer. If it pans out, you may be interested...

It's a bit premature to say. Will be comparable to an SC 4-Tech in cost,HP, & weight (probably less cost). No mods to the hull, drivetrain, or gas tank are necessary, but I'm going to use a Skat 14 vein D-pump at first. An E-pump or RXP pump will be required for a high HP setup. Higher HP(above 220) will also require mods to the drivetrain. Runs on regular 87 octane gas with carbs(175-200HP) or fuel injection(220+HP), or 91+ with a supercharger(300HP+/-).

Trying to finish a Super Jet project while the weather is still suitable for painting and glass work. As soon as that is done, I'm back on the Doo(s).

Sorry, but I've said too much already. I don't want to get into specifics until a few things are worked out.
