    RXP throttle conversion

I was just telling myself, "self this is the easiest mod there is on these", then When putting the new throttle cover on I realized there is no hole for the push pin in my steering pad. Anyone else have this problem. Also this new cover doesn`t fit worth a damn.

Also wanna say these stock handle bars aren`t worth a damn. You`d think that Seadoo would have at least painted them.

How do I install this throttle cable into the handle? This handle is threaded and the cable end isn`t. Do I have the wrong kit?

I did,,doesn`t say anything about the push pin but put it in. There is no hole. The throttle cable says install it. But you can`t screw it into the handle.

hoss if you are talking about the riva throttle conversion kit part#rs2455
yes the new throttle cover isin't an exact match color and finish.
as for the hole for the push pin, you have to drill a hole in the sterring pad in order to install the push pin.
before you do this make sure you install the supplied cover onto your steering pad tightly, then push your throttle conversion kit onto your supplied cover as tight as possible then mark the hole of where you need to drill your steering bar to hold the throttle cable conversion kit with the supplied drill bit.
remove everything and drill the hole.
that alone without drilling your sterring pad will hold that cover in place.
you can find the instruction on the riva racing site.
i am not that mecanically good and i did a good job.

    i hope this helps

Drill a hole on the plastic oem cover and them push the plastic pin through it.

Prob is then its gonna fit even worse. I`ll have to push the pin in one click so it doesn`t start to ride up. But the throttle cable is my biggest concern. What do you do? Cut the rubber grommet off of the casing?

OK,,,its the nipple on the end of the casing. It won`t fit into the brass fitting on the handle. Tried everything I got. It ain`t goin in. Say by by nipple.
